If you can drag yourself away from Sunday night television and go outside and look up; you may just see the Super Moon larger than life, hanging in the night sky.  Between the hours of 1am and 4am the Moon will appear red in colour as the Earth’s shadow falls onto the Moon, an event that will not happen for quite a while over the UK.

I photographed it earlier using a Fuji XT10 with an 80-400mm Nikon lens with a Sigma 2x convertor attached with an Ebay Fuji to Nikon connecter making the whole set up something close to 900mm.

I then turned the moon red in colour as it may appear later tonight.
